Former Siong Lim Temple
The temple is one of the oldest in Singapore. It was modelled after the Xi Chan Monastry in Fuzhou China with Hokkien architectural styles from Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Zhangzhou prefectures. The Mahavira Hall was built in 1904 and Tian Wang Dian was built in 1905 Both are gazatted as Singapore's National Monument.
